APC Convention: Aggrieved Members to Hold Protest in Zamfara
Aggrieved members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC are planning to hold a protest rally in Gusau, the Zamfara state capital on Thursday.
This medium reliably gathered that the rally which is being organised and sponsored by some powerful politicians across in Nigeria, comprising both the PDP and the aggrieved APC members.
According to our sources, those behind the rally include Gen Aliyu Mohammed Gusau rtd, former Senate President Bukola Saraki and Abdulaziz Yari, a former Zamfara state governor among other top politicians in the country.
The sources said the rally which will be organised in the name of launching the distribution of rice for Ramadan, is to be spearheaded by a former Zamfara Senator Kabiru Marafa along with some Yari associates is also taking place st a landed property belonging to the retired general located at Gada biyu in Gusau metropolitan, aiming at destabilising the peace that is now returning to the state.
Investigations also revealed that the rally is part of the agenda of Gen Gusau rtd, Bukola Saraki and Yari to disrupt the nation’s democracy and the Buhari administration in particular, to give an advantage to PDP to win 2023 general elections.
About three months ago, the three top politicians had a meeting at Gen Gusau’s residence in Abuja where each of those who attended the meeting drove his car by himself, without any security escorts.
It may be recalled that the three northern politicians who are said to be working along with some Israeli security experts hired to be creating dramatic security incidents in various parts of northern Nigeria to truncated the democratic process.
