Wizkid has once again created history as the first African artist to perform as the headlining act at Rolling Loud Event, the biggest hip-hop festival in the world.
It was reported months back that Wizkid had received a million dollars to headline the Rolling Loud festival in Miami.
Wizkid was said to have gotten a million dollars to perform as the festival’s headlining act months ago in Miami.
Alongside American musicians like Future, Dave, and others, the singer served as the festival’s headlining act.

To top it off, at the Miami Rolling Loud festival, American rap act Migos opened for Wizkid.
Wizkid’s distinction as the first African artist to perform as the festival’s headlining act in Toronto, Canada, added to the achievement.
He also made history by being the first African musician to collect $1 million for the occasion.
2019 artists Future and Travis Scott from the United States received $1 million each for the performance.
