WHO Issues Warning Against Four Cough Syrups Made In India
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has warned against the usage of four Indian- made cough syrups.
According to the BBC, 66 children’s death have been linked to the cough syrups produced by Maiden Pharmaceuticals, an Indian business in Gambia.
According to the International Health Agency, the company didn’t offer assurances regarding the security of potential patients who might have taken it.
‘’The syrups have been potentially linked with acute kidney injuries and 66 deaths among children”
Maiden Pharmaceuticals has not responded to the development.
