Barcelona, Napoli, and Ajax each earned convincing victories to wrap up the group round of the Champions League on Wednesday night.
On Wednesday, Barcelona was the greatest winner after scoring five goals at Camp Nou against Czech team Viktoria Plzen. Robert Lewandowski made his Champions League debut with the Catalans, and he did so with an important hat-trick.
Tottenham was relieved on a difficult night, but Liverpool is left stinging. After striking the goal post moments after the game’s opening kickoff, Victor Osimhen missed a penalty attempt in the first half. But by that time, Napoli had already seized the lead thanks to a Piotr Zielinski penalty.
