PDP NWC Members Allegedly Accepted A Bribe And Returned N122.4 Million To The Party
Approximately N122.4 million, which certain members of the Peoples Democratic Party’s National Working Committee alleged was deposited into their accounts without their knowledge, has been returned to the party.
The sum was reportedly a portion of the more than N10 billion the party received from nomination fees paid by candidates.
According to Channels Television, the National Women’s Leader, Prof. Stella Affah-Attoe, National Vice Chairman (South-West), Olasoji Adagunodo, Deputy National Chairman (South), Taofeek Arapaja, and National Vice Chairman (South) Chief Dan Orbih are the NWC members that returned the funds.
Arapaja received N36 million, compared to N28.8 million each for Adagunodo, Orbih, and Effah-Attoe.
